PHYSIOTHERAPY DEPARTMENT
Physiotherapy department was organized in 1954. The physiotherapy department of the Leningrad Regional Clinical Hospital is equipped with the latest physiotherapy equipment, the arsenal of which includes about 140 items, allowing the use of about 40 types of physiotherapeutic treatment.
The head of the department is a doctor of the highest qualification category Knyazeva Lyudmila Vladimirovna, a senior nurse of the highest qualification category Tatarinova Tatyana Fedorovna. In terms of the volume of physiotherapy assistance to the population, it is the leading one in the Lipetsk region.

The staff of the physiotherapy department are highly qualified specialists, dedicated to their profession. 93% of FTO employees have qualification categories, of which 73% - the highest, 20% - the first, 7% - the second. Every year about 10 thousand people receive combined and combined physiotherapy within the walls of the Lipetsk Regional Clinical Hospital.
In the physiotherapy department of the State Healthcare Institution "LOCB", preformed physical factors (apparatus physiotherapy) and natural factors (heat, mud, hydrotherapy) are used for the treatment of patients. The range of types of procedures used is wide. More than 120 thousand physiotherapy procedures are performed annually. The priority tasks are not only treatment, but also the rehabilitation of sick and disabled people in order to activate their vital activity, as well as with a preventive purpose aimed at improving and preventing various diseases. The leading directions at the present stage are: general aerocryotherapy, transcranial electrostimulation, laser therapy, magnetotherapy, peloid and hydrotherapy.
Among the latest technological solutions and effective therapeutic effects on the body, an important place is occupied by the UHF pulsed electric field apparatus KSF (made in Japan), which has no analogues in medical institutions of the region.
